The Unraveled Bunch

I would like to introduce to you all some old friends of mine. Now - this group might look extraordinarily muttly - but they really wanted me to share with you each of their stories. You know, so no judgments might be passed before you really get to know them. So, without further ado - The Unraveled Bunch.
Penny Oinkerton:
Penny found that her living situation was a bit, shall we say..........messy. She spent too much time primping and curling her tail for it all to go to pot during one afternoon nap. She really hasn't slept much because she's afraid of getting dirty - and boy, does she get crabby when she doesn't get her beauty sleep. Penny is looking for a nice clean home to call her own. Her only stipulation is that the linens are changed twice weekly.
Lyle B. Frank
Lyle is a super nice guy. Although he does tend to be quite misunderstood. You see, he has a tendency to always tell the truth, which can really get him into trouble sometimes. But we're working on that. So now instead of saying "Well, I'll be frank" which is never a good way to start a conversation - he'll say "Would you mind if I shared my opinion?" And that seems to be working for him.
Ole Schmolee
Ole was known as the happiest dog in his neighborhood. He spent many days chasing cats and his tail. He was quite obliviously happy until one day he chased his tail clear out of town! He's been in a state of shock ever since, and has taken to spinning counter clockwise in the hope of returning home. We hope that someone will adopt him soon - he's really starting to make us quite dizzy.
Inky McPinkerton
Inky has had better days. He'd much rather spend his time alone because he's just a bit skiddish. It's really quite embarrassing - every time someone approaches him for a conversation, he inks. So we've been working with him, and we're looking into ink removal services in the hope that it will help his situation. Inky's not really sure if he's ready for ink removal, so he's looking for a supportive family that might be able to help. Oh yeah, and make sure that you don't address him as Inky - he prefers to be called Butch. He feels that if his name evokes a feeling of strength, then maybe some of it will rub off on him as well.
Ester McMouser
Ester is a very sensitive little girl. She has lots of friends, and she is always making sure that everyone is ok. Her best friend is a mouse, which can create some pretty awkward situations. Ester asks that you not share your feeling about cat/mouse relationships. She doesn't want her friend to worry about her intentions. Ester wold love to be your friend, too. As long as you don't mind having mice hanging out with you as well.
Owlee Bugger
Owlee is looking for a nice, new quiet home. Where no one will bother him. Owlee doesn't want you to know much about him, but I though it only right to share a little bit of his story. Owlee has lived in the same tree his whole life - and when he got to be school age, it seemed quite obvious that his intelligence level was far superior to his class mates - and really most of his neighborhood. So - whenever Owlee was home, there were visitors at his door - and at all hours of the day - they never went home! Owlee - what is the answer to this mathematical equation? Owlee - what is the next logical move in this game of chess? Owlee - what is the meaning of life? Owlee is very tired and crabby - so please, don't ask him any questions. Just hang out with him - he'd love to play video games.

Anyone Else?

Ok- for those of you that live in the north woods - I'm sure you can relate closely with my spring fever! I'm finding myself day dreaming of green grass, and my green thumb - and have even found myself purchasing SEED packets! Even for early seed starters this is overly zealous! So, I'm venturing into the land of seed starting (which is something I have failed at miserably in the past - but - que sera.) I've purchased the little black domed seed kits and even a grow light. We shall see......
Happy Spring everyone!
And Becky - if you're reading this - pppphhhhhttttt! Note to all others: Becky lives in the South where it is already in the 70's. (:
